Review by Hanumanta Dhande: its a good software,I Have been using emachineshop for over a year now (4/5 - 27-Jul-2011)
Review by Anupam Dutta: its a good software,I Have been using emachineshop for over a year now. It has many limitations and don't expect to get your products on the cheap. Many machines are not covered in detail on how to use them in your drawing. Also, when you pic a machine such as a waterjet to cut a hole in 1/8" plate steel, it says that it is compatable in the material library, but wait till you go for pricing and you will see that is not compatable with you material, leading you to choose another material such as aluminum, with most cannot weld. As far as their weld function goes...Try and figure it out.. For all the effort put into emachineshop. They realy need to have better tutorials on the different machines and how to incorporate them into your drawi... (4/5 - 5-Apr-2009)
Review by Praeto: I found the software easy to use and made a rough CAD of my part in 10 minutes. The rough part was 6" x 10" and I chose steel as the material to use. The software will give you an instant price and I dropped my jaw when I saw the cost of my simple drawing. Almost 400 dollars to laser cut the piece. Great concept, outrageous pricing....
